Replaced the defrost board and found that the short circuit from the previous visit took out multiple components in the system. Had to run a new wire to the condenser. The thermostat was shorted, and the high-pressure switch was shorted. Replaced the thermostat with a temporary stat and bypassed high pressure switch after verifying the system did not have high pressure.

We installed a new 97% 2-Stage 70,000 BTU gas furnace with a variable speed blower motor. The A/C was a 3-ton condenser with an A-Coil. We re-used the line set and the PVC flues. We also reused the media air filter. The rest was replaced.

Used isolation valves in the basement to track down the leak. Narrowed it to the master bathroom and found the toilet fill valve constantly dumping in the overflow tube. Replaced the fill valve to correct. Also replaced fill valve in 2nd toilet per homeowner's request.
