JB Plumbing Supports the 33rd Annual Belt Sander Race at Bertie’s Inn
On July 12th, 2025, the Exeter community came together for one of the area’s most unique and beloved traditions — the 33rd Annual Belt Sander Race at Bertie’s Inn. JB Plumbing HVAC & Construction was proud to be a sponsor of this exciting event that blends creativity, competition, and community spirit.
What Makes the Belt Sander Race Special
This isn’t your average race. Contestants customize belt sanders and line them up on the track to see whose design can power across the finish line the fastest. Beyond the laughs and thrills, the event has grown into a full-day celebration with live music from local artists, raffles, and a silent auction.
Racing for Refuge – Supporting SAFE Berks
More than just fun and games, the race raises funds to benefit SAFE Berks, an organization dedicated to providing refuge, advocacy, and hope for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. Every entry fee, raffle ticket, and donation helps ensure that individuals and families in our community can access lifesaving support when they need it most.
A Day of Local Pride
Gates opened at 10:00 a.m., with music filling the air until evening. Crowds cheered on the races, enjoyed food and drinks, and connected with friends and neighbors. It was more than a competition — it was a celebration of Exeter Township’s creativity and heart.
