A plumbing repair call for a leaking hot water heater turned into an estimate for a new Tankless Water Heater and Water Softener.
Reinstalled waste and over flow trim.
AC maintenance. Checked the air filter. Cleaned condensate drain. Cleaned the condenser. Checked condenser capacitor. Checked resistance on the contactor. Checked amp draw. Checked charge.
Supplied and installed a new 12” frost-free hose bib.
Tankless water heater repair. Navien tankless losing flame on error code 012. Found 2 pin holes in heat exchanger which are causing unit to lose pressure when firing at a high rate.

Different section of pipe was leaking from a galvanized 90 that runs to a capped line and isn't used. Technician offered to cut the line down and eliminate the leaking section by removing a tee and using a 90 instead. It currently isn't leaking; the galvanized most likely rusted shut.
The back draft damper on the fan housing was rubbing, causing a ticking noise. Sprayed with WD40 and scraped away some of the paint to stop the damper from making noise. Ran the fan for 10 minutes and asked the customer if the noise was gone. Also looked at the furnace blower making a noise.

The controller for the attic fan is a thermostat/humidistat. The fan is running because of the humidity level in the attic. Turned the humidity setting off, and the fan stopped running. Set the humidity level to 80% and the temperature setting to 90 degrees.
Service was completed on time and thoroughly. Technician was professional and very knowledgeable at his job. Always great service!
