Checked the evaporator coil, condenser coil, lineset, and all braze joints; found no signs of oil and received no hits with the leak detector. The Schrader valves were not leaking. The service valves were not leaking. Checked the charge; the charge seemed fine. Ensured the house was locked before leaving.

Replaced the HVAC system. Removed the old system and all the main trunks. Installed the new system at the far end and ran a new return and three new supplies that will be zoned separately for the basement, 1st, and 2nd floors. Installed a 97% 2-stage Gas furnace and a 16 SEER 5-ton A/C system.

The wax ring on the toilet was in disrepair. After pulling the toilet, found that the flange is in pretty bad condition, but was able to get the bolts to mount into it. Used silicone to mount it to the floor; told the client not to use the toilet for 24 hours so it would dry and secure to the floor better.

Found the condenser not coming on. Checked the voltage; had no voltage at the contactor. Made sure nothing on the condenser was grounded. Found tripped breaker. Flipped the breaker back on, and the condenser started. Checked the charge. Visually inspected the condenser coil; found nothing wrong with the condenser at this time.

I’ve had JB Plumbing out to my house several times in the last two weeks and have spoken with the owner and his wife, as well as several employees. Every person has been extremely helpful and did their best to make sure the situation was rectified. The first visit was for a broken water heater that had leaked all over the main floor of my house. They corrected the problem by replacing the water heater. Two weeks later the new water heater died and leaked again. They sent someone out immediately, after hours, to make sure the water heater was off and to see what the problem was. The next day they added me to the schedule, despite their schedule being full, then came back on Friday to replace the two week old water heater. They were so helpful and costs were reasonable for quality work. I would highly recommend them to anyone in need of service.
