Found that the mini split was leaking water. Air filters were dirty, and the drain was clogged. Cleaned filters and shop vacuumed the drain to remove the clog. Checked charge. The system is low on charge. Searched for leaks and found a leaking Schrader valve with no cap at the service port. Removed remaining refrigerant and charged 2 lbs 2 oz of R410A. Checked charge again (good). Added a locking refrigerant cap.
The Utica combi boiler was locked out on a low water cut-off fault when I arrived. The boiler system pressure was 11.7 psi. I added a small amount of water, and the unit fired up immediately. Brought system pressure up to 18 psi to allow for small pressure fluctuations and tested the boiler and domestic hot water for 30 - 40 minutes.
Had a simple project for a leaking shower drain. My first call is always JB Plumbing. Easy communication setting up the repair. Technician was timely, friendly, informative, and completed the repair quickly and did a great job. I’m not calling any other day plumber!
Replaced leaking shower strainer on master bath fiberglass shower stall. Sealed with silicone. Advised Client not to use the shower for 24 hours.
Performed yearly softener service. Cleaned injectors and screens. Cleaned the meter and meter cable. Ensured bypass and float assembly were functional. Greased all o-rings and seals in the head. Removed drain elbows and made sure drain line was clear. Ran the unit through a manual backwash to ensure proper operation.
Scheduling and service is always prompt. Zach always gives a thorough explanation of the problem that he's found and what the solution will be. He's happy to answer any questions I may have.

No hot water from summer winter hook up -Replaced mixing valve on domestic hot water coil outlet. Set temp at 125 degrees. Showed customer how to operate mixing valve to lower/raise temperature.
Installed new waste and overflow kit on upstairs bathtub. Took apart paneling to access drain from below, took apart brass drain and replaced with new PVC waste and overflow. Tested (ok) Material 1) waste and overflow kit

Found no voltage at the furnace and a blown high voltage fuse in an old disconnect. Bypassed the fuse, but fan motor was dead. Due to system age, recommended replacing whole system. Estimate provided. Customer requested space heaters. Shut off water at main to stop pipe leak.
