It literally took John 2 minutes to figure out why my sink was leaking and another 2 minutes to fix it. Very friendly and efficient. Your entire team is always polite, they wipe their feet/put those shoe covers on, etc. It takes the stress out of having to get work done!

Everything went so smoothly and quickly that I never had a chance for a single worry. John N.certainly knows his craft! I’ve been impressed with every aspect of the work. I appreciated the heads up messages from Aaron regarding arrival times and which contractors were coming, and what parts of the project were being done that day. Very helpful. Re-calibrated Utica combi boiler. Adjusted combustion and firing rate. Checked incoming gas pressure, low voltage controls, etc.
Tightened the packing nut on the hot supply stop under the kitchen sink.
Supplied and installed a new Delta kitchen sink faucet.
Finished up the following: Supply and install 60x32 RH tub. Supply and install new shower fixtures and trim in brushed nickel, including control, slide bar and hand held. Supply and install 2 vanity faucets brushed nickel. Change plumbing at vanity for double bowl.
Installed a new Rheem 50-gallon power vent water heater. Drained and returned the old water heater under warranty to Home Depot and purchased a new one. Re-piped the water lines into the new unit. Reconnected the exhaust and gas line to the new unit. Filled unit and lit.
Hooked up the new refrigerator to the ice-maker line. Inspected the existing copper line and valve. They are both in good shape. Replaced the shut-off valve for the hose bib in the utility closet. While working in the closet, I noticed that the AC coil was sweating and dripping onto the floor. The condensate line may be partially clogged; you can see it dripping out of the discharge, so not entirely clogged. Replaced customer customer-supplied filter.
Inspected all piping and ran the kitchen sink, dishwasher, washing machine, and laundry tub; did not smell or see anything out of the ordinary.
Cleaned debris out of the clogged fill valve in the hall bathroom toilet. Turned up the temperature on the electric water heater from 120° to 130°. The master bath lav faucet needs to be replaced. Turned off the hot supply valve to stop the faucet from dripping.
Installed a client-supplied garbage disposal. Supplied and installed a new Kholer tank-to-bowl gasket and bolts on the toilet. Supplied and installed a new chrome pop-up assembly on the upstairs vanity.
Found a leak on a 3/4” black plug in the back of a 3/4” black tee. Took out and replaced with a new 3/4” black plug and dope, turned the gas back on, relit the water heater, and tested the gas pipe for leaks.
Utica Combi-Boiler locked out with Error code 133 (Ignition failure). Removed, cleaned, and sanded the flame sensor and spark igniter. The igniter was not arcing when I arrived, causing the unit to lock out. After cleaning and reinstalling, the unit fired up immediately.
Rescheduled appointment.
We repaired the cast iron stack on the outside of the house. We replaced the cast iron below with new cast, and above, it was replaced with PVC pipe instead. A lift was used to safely cut the old cast iron out.
Took apart a section of the gas main between the water heater and furnace to repair the gas leak flagged by UGI. Resealed, tightened, and tested. Lit the water heater and tested the furnace.
Supply and install 60x32 RH tub. Supply and install new shower fixtures and trim in brushed nickel, including control, slide bar and hand held. Supply and install 2 vanity faucets brushed nickel. Change plumbing at vanity for double bowl.
Disconnected and removed the radiator. Cut open the drywall to expose the piping. Cut out the leaking section of the pipe and replaced it with 3/4” heat PEX. Reconnected the radiator, filled the boiler, and bled all of the radiators.
Replaced the drain lines below the flooring. Rough-in new fixtures for the tub and shower. Provided and installed a steel tub with porcelain.
Run new hot and cold water lines from basement mains into sink base with shut-off valves and adapters to connect to 1/2” faucet hoses.
The tile shower in the first-floor bath has several issues. The floor is not sloped towards the drain and is uneven, causing standing water. The bench is also back-sloped. Recommended demoing the first few rows of tile on walls, tearing out the bench, floor, and pan, and installing new with proper slope.
Supplied and installed a new sewage ejector pump and lid flanges. Tested the pump and reconnected the washing machine drain.
Tested the operation of the Navien Combi-Boiler. Ran diagnostics, checked the error code history (clear), and ran hot water and domestic heating. Couldn’t get the unit to replicate the issue that the client had described. Left heating thermostat disconnected.
Disconnected and removed the radiator. Cut open the drywall to expose the piping. Cut out the leaking section of the pipe and replaced with 3/4” heat PEX. Reconnected the radiator, filled the boiler, and bled all of the radiators.
